EMDR Thearpy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy designed to help individuals process traumatic memories. This innovative approach involves the patient focusing on their trauma while engaging in bilateral stimulation, typically through guided eye movements. Extensive research has demonstrated EMDR's effectiveness in treating PTSD and other disorders, including anxiety, depression, OCD, and chronic pain. As ongoing studies continue to support its positive outcomes, EMDR therapy becomes a valuable tool for those seeking recovery from distressing life experiences.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is backed by extensive research, proving its effectiveness for trauma-related conditions and psychological disorders.

Couples Thearpy

The Gottman Method for Healthy Relationships is a form of couples-based therapy and education that derives from the relationship research of psychologist John Gottman. For more than 40 years, Gottman identified and tested the elements of an enduring relationship. Gottman and his wife, psychologist Julie Schwartz Gottman, created the clinical treatment framework known as the Gottman Method and launched the Gottman Institute, a center for training, research, and education. One of the major tenets of the Gottman Method is that couples require five times more positive interactions than negative, as negative emotions, like defensiveness and contempt, hurt a relationship more than positive ones heal. As a result, the therapy focuses on developing the skills and understanding necessary for partners to maintain fondness and admiration, turn toward each other to get their needs met, and manage conflict. It also focuses on how couples can react and repair relations when they do hurt each other.

DBT Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of psychotherapy designed to help individuals with conditions involving intense emotions and impulsive behaviors, such as borderline personality disorder, suicidal behavior, and eating disorders. It focuses on teaching skills to manage emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and tolerate distress. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals develop skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.  Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is an effective combination of cognitive and behavioral therapies. The goal of DBT is to transform negative thinking patterns and destructive behaviors into positive outcomes.
